Hyderabad: Abid Ali Khan Education Trust conducted examinations of Urdu Dani, Zaban Dani and Insha of Idara-e-Adabiyat-e-Urdu yesterday at 244 centers in TS, AP and other districts of neighbouring states.
The examination began at all the centers at 10 a.m. in which 43000 males and females appeared. For Urdu Dani, 5288 candidates from 180 centers wrote the exam. For Zaban Dani, there were 7973 candidates and for Insha, 9989 candidates wrote the exam.
Mr. Kishore, Asst. Clerk of the University of Hyderabad expressed his delight for writing this exam and said that Urdu is a very sweet language. He learned Urdu only in 15 days. Mr. J. V. Ratnakar wrote Urdu Zaban Dani examination at Bibi Alwa Center. He said that while talking to people in Urdu affection gets generated. Ms. Bharati Devi wrote Urdu Zaban Dani examination at Madarsa Al Banat, Urdu, Makkah Masjid. When she was writing the exam, her eyes were full of tears. At Madarsa Deeniya Rasheedia, Alawa Bibi, a handicapped couple wrote the exam. At various centers, young boys and girls of 12-14 years old were also seen writing the examination.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily inspected various centers and contacted the candidates in person. Prof. Anwaruddin, former Head of Dept. of Urdu, University of Hyderabad, Dr. Mohammed Nazim Ali, Retired Principal visited various centers in the city. A large number of non-Muslim students also wrote the exams. They thanked Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily and Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily for conducting these exams.
