Abid Ali Khan Educational Trust in collaboration with Idara-e-Adabiyath-e-Urdu conducted Urdu Dani, Urdu Zaban Dani and Urdu Insha examinations successfully yesterday. Thousands of boys, girls and aged women including some non-Muslim students attended the examination. Noted Professors, Research Scholars and other activists in the field of Urdu inspected examination centers and applauded the efforts of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily. They expressed the view that in the present day context, the younger generation is giving preference to learn English. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, considering the farsightedness, took steps to provide Urdu Education to the younger generation. These examinations are being conducted since 1994. In the present year 4552 candidates from Hyderabad and Secunderabad and 3018 from A.P., Telangana District and 1730 candidates from other states took the test. In all, 9363 candidates took the test.

Shukoor, Secretary of Idara-e-Adabiyath-e- Urdu and Secretary of Urdu Academy, Ms. Munawar Khatoon, Director Ashraful Madaris, Dr. Musa Iqbal (Telangana University), Prof. Nazim Ali, Principal Mortad Degree College, Nizamabad, Dr. Sultana Akhtar, Head of the Department of Urdu, Vanita Mahavidyalaya, Mr. Omer Bin Husain Bawazir ( Research Scholar, MANUU), Mr. Amernath (Research Scholar), Mr. Mohammed Ishtiaque Ahmed (Research Scholar, MANUU), Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim(Research Scholar, HCU), Mr. Mohammed Sharib Khan (Research Scholar, HCU), Mr. Mohammed Etemad (Research Scholar, HCU), Ms. Syeda Sara Sultana, (Research Scholar, MANUU), Ms. Yaseen Fatima, BUMS, Mr. Mohammed Wajahath Ali and Mr. Mohammed Habeeb ur Rahman, In charge of examination section of Abid Ali Khan Urdu Trust inspected various centers. They opined that these examinations are being taken by the students who are studying in English medium schools.
Siasat Urdu Daily under the stewardship of late Mr. Abid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Daily and late Mr. Mahboob Husain Jigar, Joint Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily had started a campaign for the promotion of Urdu language and to eradicate illiteracy which has now become a movement today. After visiting the examination centers, one would say that the future of Urdu language is safe in the hands of the younger generation.
