Anjuman Taraqui-e-Urdu, A.P. is organizing a three day Urdu Book Fair from 25th to 27th January at Urdu Hall Himayathnagar. Dr. Jilani Banu and Prof. S.A. Shukoor will be the Chief Guests. Mr. Mustafa Ali Sarwari, Mr. M.A. Raheem Khan and Syed Shah Habeebuddin Quadri will be the guests of honour. An Essay writing competition, a Quiz competition, Fancy dress competition and Elocution competition will be held during the book fair. The topic of Elocution competition is “How to promote reading among Children”. Dr. Khalid Mubashiruz Zafar and Dr. Shahida will be the judges for Elocution competition. On 27th January a seminar will be held under the Chairmanship of Prof. Mujeed Bedar, former Head of the Dept. of Urdu, OU will be the Chief Guest.
