Urdu boards missing in new police stations

Although most of the government offices, departments, railway stations and bus stations do not have Urdu on their sign boards but today we would like to mention only those police stations that used to have Urdu script on their sign boards during Nizam’s rule. Urdu is being wiped off from those sign boards which is also a part of conspiracy against Urdu language.

Tragically Urdu is being discriminated by linking it with a particular community, though the language used to be the pride of every citizen of the country before independence. Urdu language used to be the symbol of religious solidarity. One such example is the 73 year old temple located at Mangalhat in which name of the temple has been engraved in Urdu script on a stone tablet.

Police stations of Husaini Alam, Kamati Pura, Chandrayangutta, Nimboli Adda, Musheerabad and Chaderghat have old Urdu sign boards which need to be further made visible. However Urdu is being completely ignored in the newly constructed police stations.
