Urdu Academy of Jeddah is organizing annual award function today at 10 a.m. at Salar Jung Museum Auditorium. Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of Telangana State will be the Chief Guest. Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel, IAS, Special Secretary of the Department of Minorities Welfare, Prof. S.A. Shukoor, Secretary of Urdu Academy and Mr. Khaleequr Rahman, Senior Congress leaders who will the guests of honour. This function is being held under the supervision of Chief Patron of Urdu Academy, Mr. Asif Samdani. It will be preside over the Mr. Syed Jamalullah Quadri, President of Urdu Academy Jeddah. Awards would be presented to 14 toppers of various examinations including 3 blind toppers, 3 best teachers and 7 best teachers in optional subjects of Urdu medium. All the students , teachers and parents are requested to attend this meeting and make it a success. Mr. Abid Siddiqui will conduct the meeting.
