Hyderabad: Govt. of A.P. constituted State Urdu Academy completing the process of bifurcation. Principal Secretary, Mr. Vijay Kumar issued GO Rt. 27 in which guidelines for the formation of Urdu Academy were mentioned.
According to the orders issued Principal Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare would be the ex-officio Chairman of Urdu Academy. Four directors have been nominated. Joint Secretary/Dy. Secretary (Finance), Joint Secretary/Dy. Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare and Commissioner of Minorities Welfare will be the directors. Director and Secretary of A.P. Urdu Academy will be the Convener.
