New Delhi: UPSC Civil Services Notification 2020 likely to be released soon. As per the official calendar of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the notification is scheduled to be released on 12th February 2020.
The last date of receipt of applications is 3rd March 2020.
UPSC Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on 31st May 2020.
UPSC CS Main
The calendar also mentioned that the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2020 is likely to start on 18th September 2020. The duration of the examination in five days.
It may be mentioned that there are two stages of selection viz., Preliminary and Main.
Competition
The preliminary examination which is of qualifying in nature is considered as one of the toughest examinations as out of lakhs of students, 10-12 thousand become eligible to appear in the Main examination.
The marks obtained in the Main Examination and Personality Test decide the rank of the aspirant in the final list.
