UPSC chairman pats TSPSC for path-breaking reforms

The 19th National Conference of Chairpersons of State PSCs was held at Dhordo, Kutch, in Gujarat State.

 

UPSC Chairman has congratulated and appreciated the efforts of Chairman, TSPSC for introducing path-breaking reforms by adopting the latest technology and advised that other PSCs may learn and adopt the technological advancements made by TSPSC. Further UPSC Chairman has requested TSPSC to share the technology and help the other State PSCs also towards achieving complete digitization.

 

The Conference was today inaugurated by Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat State. The National Conference was attended by Prof. David Reid Syiemlieh, Chairman, UPSC and Chairman of all State PSCs. Today in the second session of the National Conference, TSPSC Chairman Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani made a presentation on Digitisation of Indian PSCs. As the Chairman of Sub-Committee on Digitisation, Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani elaborately discussed various steps to be taken up by the PSCs including UPSC. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani said TSPSC has achieved 90 percent digitisation and within next few months TSPSC will emerge as the first digital PSC in the country. UPSC Chairman and other Chairman of state PSCs appreciated the efforts of TSPSC towards achieving complete Digitisation and they said TSPSC has emerged as a role model to other PSCs.

 

TSPSC, in accordance with the Government of India initiative of “Digital India” is accepting fees online using credit card, debit card, net banking through payment gateway of SBI e-pay and Bill Desk. At Bill Desk we are committed to this vision of implementing innovative solutions for simplifying payments and collections and translating the opportunities offered by the Internet into actual customer delight through efficient payment and collection services.

 

Further UPSC Chairman, has expressed his happiness and appreciation that even though the State of Telangana and Telangana State PSC have come into existence very recently, the Government of Telangana has taken special care to fill

up large number of government posts and also facilitated the adoption of latest technology by TSPSC.             “National Conference of Chairpersons of State PSCs” is a forum of Chairmen of PSCs in India constituted to deliberate upon bringing out transparency and reforms in the recruitment process (NSS)
