Hyderabad, August 25: As part of beautification of Moosa River, Hyderabad Development Authority has prepared a layout for the development of Uppal as a Model Township over an area of 828 acres. Layout has been prepared by dislodging the agriculturists who were growing only grass on this land. They will be compensated by allotting one thousand Sq. yards plots.
HMDA instructed such agriculturists to collect the documents of land allotments from its office on 27th August 2011. Out of this land, 104 acres have been earnmarked for Metro Rail Project. There are plans to construct roads, parks and other facilities in this area. Plots have also been reserved for Police Station, Post Office, Shopping Centre, Schools, Hospital and Fire Station.
