UPA Govt’s wrong polices led to price rise: Lalu

Dumka (Jharkhand), December 04: The Rashtriya Janta Dal today accused the UPA government of snatching onion from the plate of the common man.

“No more onion on your plate as its price is Rs 24.

Potatoes too cost Rs 20. To top it, pulses hover around Rs 100 and mustard oil costs Rs 80,” RJD supremo Lalu Prasad told a poll meeting at Jarmundi here.

“The government, which fails to curb price rise is construed as an inefficient government. Wrong policies by the Centre has led to sky-rocketing of the prices,” he said.

He asked the Maoists to accept the offer for talks as “Guns have never solved any problem. Sit across the table and talk, and solve your problems.
