Janata Party President Subramaniam Swamy today termed the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) II Government at the Centre as the most ‘unpopular’ and claimed that a mid-term poll is inevitable in 2013. Addressing the press here, he said due to ‘black mail’ politics by the Congress party, the mid-term poll was prevented at the present juncture. He said Congress party had not won any election in the recent times and had even lost in Amethi and Riabareli constituencies in the Assembly elections held in Uttar Pradesh.
Mr Swamy said “by next year we are expecting mid-term election and the BJP-led NDA would form the government at the Centre”. UNI
