Hyderabad, April 20: Three management students from the University of Hyderabad (UoH) have been recruited by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) during the campus placements for a record remuneration of Rs 11 lakh per annum. This is the highest package offered by any company to MBA students of the UoH till date. The placements for MBA students are still going on.
According to the officials at the Placement Guidance and Advisory Bureau (PGAB) at the UoH, the university students from various disciplines like computers, humanities, economics, mathematics, statistics, physics, chemistry, life sciences and communications, got campus placements with annual packages ranging between Rs 3 to Rs 7 lakh per annum.
Several companies and banks of repute like HSBC, State Bank of Hyderabad, Tata Consultancy Services, JP Morgan Chase, ADP India Limited, Tata Motors, IBM, Honeywell, Orient Black Swan, Deloitte, and Dr Reddy Labs were among the companies which visited the campus for recruitment. Many other companies like TVS Motors, Advinus Therapeutics and AstraZeneca are in the process of fixing the dates for campus placements after the completion of final examinations in May.
