According to the OS World University Rankings 2015, University of Hyderabad is ranked as the best University in India to learn the English language and literature Its global ranking stood at 200-250, which is better than some popular Universities in the US and Europe.
The UoH was also stands among top 10 universities from India under the subject of chemistry. UoH earned a global ranking of 300-400, alongside the University of Delhi and Banaras Hindu University. The other seven universities include six IITs and the Indian Institute of Sciences
In the 100-point index, the UoH department of English scored 54.9 points for academics reputation, 46.8 for employer reputation and 14.3 for citations per paper.
The UoH School of Chemistry scored 55.6 for academic reputa-tion, 39.1 for employer reputation, 79.4 for citations per paper and 66.9 for high index citations.
