Unpleasant remarks against CM: Facebook denies address details, CID approaches MHA

Hyderabad: After the denial of Facebook to furnish the details of the IP address of the person who used un-parliamentary words against CM of TS, Mr. KCR, CID officials wrote a letter to Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for help.

It may be mentioned that Waseem Ali, a TRS worker of Azampura had lodged a complaint at Chaderghat Police Station on 13th November 2017. The local police after preliminary investigations transferred this case to Central Crime Station.

The CID wrote a letter to Facebook with a request to furnish the details of IP address which was denied.

CID then wrote a letter to Ministry of Home Affairs with a request to approach Facebook for getting the details.

Authentic sources revealed that in the next 10 days, IP address is likely to be obtained. Only after this, further investigations could be initiated.

It may be mentioned that making derogatory remarks with or without evidence against PM, CM and other dignitaries can land anyone in trouble.
