Muslim leaders, be they of any party, should adopt the approach of partnership rather than submission. Situation can change if Muslims make their presence felt. Mr. Abdus Sattar Mujahid told this. He further stated Muslims especially Indian Muslims are broadminded in their nature. When a candidate, though he may belong to any religion or faith, enters into the fray in districts, if Muslims decide to make him win, they leave no stone unturned to ensure his success but when it comes to a Muslim candidate, no community supports him instead campaign against him. Defeat of Mohammad Ibrahim in Mahboob Nagar is a recent example.
Mr. Abdul Sattar Mujahid told that for cultivating their political identity Muslims should generate unity among themselves and generate community sentiments before secular sentiments.
After evaluating the political situation of the state it seems that every community has its own vote bank but all communities keep eye on Muslim vole bank. Hence Muslims should unanimously spread this message that Muslims will give vote to non Muslim candidates only when the victory of Muslim candidates wherever they are contesting from is ensured.
