Hyderabad, December 19: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Jitendra Singh on Sunday highlighted the role of Central Industrial Security Forces in protecting the valuable assets in the country.
Reviewing the Dikshant Parade of 36th Batch Sub-inspectors/Executive of Central Industrial Security Forces at National Industrial Security Academy in the city, Jitendra Singh lauded the services of CISF at airports, in the field of disaster management, and in providing consultancy services to both private and public sectors.
He also recalled their services in countering naxal attacks in maoist-affected states.
Jitendra Singh said the Government has decided to establish canteens for central forces across the states.
He said that he had convened a meeting with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in this regard.
He said the CISF would deal sternly if any anti-social elements pose a danger to internal security of country and take it as a challenge.
CISF Director General N R Das said that 1,141 trainees have completed their training successfully in the camp.
He said that the candidates are ready to shoulder any responsibility assigned to them now.
