New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley may be suffering from Kidney disease sources close to the Minister told news agency PTI.
The 65-year-old Minister had recently undergone diagnostic tests and the doctors think it is a kidney-related ailment. Jaitley has not been quite well for the past few days. He could not even attend the oath-taking ceremony after being re-elected as Rajya Sabha MP due to his deteriorating health.
The AIIMS doctors advised him to avoid going out in public in order to prevent further infection. The doctors are yet to decide if the Minister would require a Kidney transplant, News Nation reported.
According to the sources, Jaitely had undergone a bariatric surgery in 2014 which could possibly the reason for his deteriorating condition.
