Uninterrupted power supply– Six new sub-stations sanctioned for old city

Hyderabad: Six new electrical sub-stations have been sanctioned for the old city of Hyderabad in order to improve power supply. Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited has planned to spend Rs. 50 crore for these new sub-stations. Very soon, tenders would be invited. Mr. T. Anand, Superintending Engineer, South Circle told this. He also said that in order to eradicate the complaints of power shortage in old city, it is essential to construct new sub-stations. The proposed 6 sub-stations would be constructed in the next 6-7 months. The areas in which sub-stations have been sanctioned are: Bahadurpura, Saidabad, Madannapet, Chatrinaka, Teegalguda and Moosaram Bagh.
