Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has claimed that there would be uninterrupted power supply across Telangana State in the next three years.
Speaking after admitting Congress MLA from Chevella K Yadaiah into the TRS at Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, KCR said that the State Government has already initiated the process to resolve the energy crisis. He claimed that within three years, the government would be able to supply 24×7 power across the State. He also claimed that all households in the State would get tap connections in the next four years.
KCR also promised to develop Chevella constituency. He also favoured repeal of GO 111 issued by the Environment department to prevent pollution of Himayat Sagar lake. He described the GO as unproductive which has been hampering the development of nearly 80 villages. He assured that he would write to the Centre to repeal the GO at the earliest.
The Chief Minister accused the previous governments of ignoring development of Chevella and surrounding areas. He said despite having proximity to Hyderabad, Chevella failed to grow properly. He said that there was a huge land bank around Hyderabad which is worth nearly Rs 2 lakh crore. He said the same lands would be utilised properly to improve the economic conditions of local residents. (INN)
