In a verdict High court on Saturday scrapped the management quota of seats in professional colleges and set aside the uniform fee structure in force now. Professional colleges will henceforth be allowed to charge tuition fees as befits their facilities and standards.
Welcoming the High Court verdict Feroze Khan said that in present circumstances this judgment is in favour of public and students need not pay huge amount as fees. He said that college administrations are collecting exorbitant fees in the name of management quota consequently laying heavy burden on parents. State government should immediately implement the judgment so that college administrations may not challenge the judgment in other court.
