A four-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by two unidentified women in the Kushaiguda police limits on Thursday morning.
According to police, the girl, Jahanvi, was kidnapped when she went to a kirana store near her house in Hanuman Nagar along with her cousins Shreya and Jyotsna to buy chocolates. On the pretext of praising the girl for being cute, one of the woman lifted Jahanvi in her arms and both fled from scene. Shocked Shreya and Jyotsna immediately rushed to their house and informed the elders about the incident.
Following a complaint lodged by Jahanvi’s father Balakrishna, Kushaiguda police registered a case and began efforts to trace the kidnapped girl and nab the kidnappers. (INN)
