Aurobindo Pharma Chairman N Reddy was shot at by unidentified assailants on Wednesday.
The assailants fired three shots at Reddy’s car when he was leaving KBR Park near posh Banjara Hills after morning walk.
Police, who have launched a probe into the incident that took place at around 7:00 am, said Reddy escaped with minor injuries.
The men had arrived in a car and left after opening fire.
According to some reports, the attackers were carrying an AK-47 gun.
