Unhappy with Amar Singh, Azam Khan to join AIMIM?

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party’s (SP) leader Azam Khan is not happy with the decision of Amar Singh’s induction to the Rajya Sabha.

Parliamentary Affairs minister Azam Khan ahead of Uttar Prdaesh Assembly Elections 2017, may quit the party to join Asaduddin Owaisi’s All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM).

Urdu daily Roznama Inquilab, reported that the senior leader is extremely upset with Amar Singh’s induction into SP and possibly will join hand with Asaduddin Owaisi.

Expressing his displeasure over Amar Singh’s nomination , Khan said, “As far as I think, this whole incident (nomination of Amar Singh to Rajya Sabha) is unfortunate.”

He even sent his resignation letter from all party posts and ministries but Mulayam Singh Yadav refused to accept it.

“Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) president and firebrand MP from Hyderabad who has been trying to establish his party in UP may get a huge success in the state as disgruntled SP leader Azam Khan may join hands with him.
Shahi imam, Ahmad Bukhari is ready to join hands with him and Azam Khan can be given the party’s charge in UP,” the Inquilab report stated.

If speculations of Khan joining MIM are true, Khan may be given charge of Uttar Pradesh  Assembly by the AIMIM.

If both Khan and Owaisi joins hand, it would be major setback for all secular parties who are eyeing on Muslim vote bank.
