An undertrial and a constable accompanying him have gone missing after an appearance in a local court here.
The undertrial, Raghuvir Beria, who was lodged in the District Jail since September 2012 in connection with looting cases, along with constable Govind Singh had gone for a hearing in a local court on Friday, but the two did not return, police said.
When the duo failed to return by evening, a search was started. The police also raided Beria’s home in Kalyanpur but could not gather any information regarding the whereabouts of two.
