Rajahmundray Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar today alleged that Modugula Venugopal Reddy and Lagadapati Rajagopal were attacked by Telangana and other States’ members.
Clippings of proceedings in the House should be made public without any Censor then only facts of the incident in Lok Sabha would come out. States were bifurcated, but this kind of incidents never happened. Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal did spray pepper powder when he was attacked by other MPs. But I do not know how he got the spray in the House. What would happen if the State was divided. I never thought that Congress party would do this kind of politics just for ten MP seats.
Strongly condemning the incident, Arun Kumar demanded release of video clippings without any Censor to ascertain the fact that led to unruly scenes in the House.
Meawhile, Lagadapati made a surprising statement that he had threat to his life and that was the reason why he always carries pepper spray. I came to the rescue of Modugula when he was being beaten. But he was roughed up. He used the pepper spray in self-defence. (NSS)
