Uncle should understand congress politics

Hyderabad, May 14: YS Jagan said his uncle Vivekananda Reddy should at least now understand the mean politics of the Congress party. In an interview to the Headlines Today, he said he was the first to feel sad about his uncle’s defeat and add emotionally that it was the same blood flowing in both.

Stating that the Congress government in the state had flopped, Jagan said people were longing for change. “I am ready to face elections with my father’s photograph. Is the Congress ready to face elections with the photos of Sonia and Rahul?” he challenged. He has predicted that the Congress and the TDP would loose deposits whenever elections were held in the state.

Alleging that the central and the state governments were adopting a lackadaisical attitude towards the problems of the farmers, he said farmers were suffering because of this negligent attitude. He has announced that he would stage a 48-hour hunger strike in Guntur. He has clarified that it was not a political programme, but was aimed at opening the eyes of the governments.
