Uma, her son Sandeep to join TRS tomorrow

Former minister Uma Madhava Reddy and her son Sandeep Reddy were planning to join the ruling TRS party on December 14.

Towards this end, both Uma and Sandeep called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today at Pragathi Bhavan. Already she had given leaks on her joining the TRS during her meeting with the Chief Minister in his chamber in the Assembly during winter session of the Assembly recently. She had said that she was ready to join the ruling party if it sent feelers.

Making clear, Uma and her son would be joining TRS party along with her followers on December 14. She was reportedly in a dilemma for some time whether to join the Congress or the TDP after the TTDP working president A Revanth Reddy joined the Congress. Speaking on the occasion, Sandeep Reddy said he was interested in working under the Chief Minister’s leadership for the sake of the development of the State. (NSS)
