Dehra Dun, April 12: BJP removed two party office bearers from their posts in Udhamsingh Nagar district on charges of irregularities in getting funds sanctioned for beneficiaries under a government-run women welfare scheme.
“BJP has removed Rudrapur divisional head Natthulal Gupta and coordinator of weaker section cell Ramprakash Gupta for their alleged involvement in irregularities in getting funds sanctioned for beneficiaries under Gaura Devi Kanyadhan scheme,” party president of the Uttarakhand unit Bishan Singh Chufal said.
An inquiry is also initiated against them by the party’s disciplinary committee, he said.
