Nottingham: A 20-year-old Indian-origin, Arjun Singh died in a hospital after an assault that took place near a pub in Nottingham, a city located in the Midland region of England.
As per the reports, Arjun was attacked on Saturday evening. Later, Nottingham police arrested a man, aged 20 years, accused in the murder case.
Giving the details of the investigation, Detective Inspector Richard Monk, Nottinghamshire Police said that they are questioning the arrested person. He also urged the witnesses to come forward and provide any information related to the case.
It may be mentioned that Singh who was the student of Nottingham Trent University was assaulted near the Slug and Lettuce pub on Long Row in Nottingham. After the incident, he was rushed to the Queen’s Medical Centre.
Meanwhile, the parents of the deceased have asked the police to maintain their privacy.
