UBS sets up campus in Hyderabad

Vijayawada, June 10: Unitedworld School of Business (UBS), started by a group of economists, academicians and top executives, has set up its campus in Hyderabad. It will be the fourth campus of the UBS after Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Disclosing this at a press conference here today, UBS Hyderabad campus Dean K V Iyer said, ”UBS constantly endeavors to introduce new and innovative management programmes for enhancing the skills and competence of the students as well as young professionals.” Unitedworld Business School had also opened its first international campus in Singapore for the coming academic session, he added.

He said USB was the first-of-its-kind school that had open economy focused curriculum in the country and was led by a credible intellectual team along with high-end integration of technology in its pedagogy.

He said ”all students of UBS undergo rigorous theoretical and practical training besides getting a compulsory month-long immersion programme at Singapore campus.” Though a large number of Business Schools existed in the country, the students were not fit to join in industries immediately after their PG as they lacked skills, he pointed.
