Dubai: With the increase in the number of smartphones, many people are getting habituated to take selfies on various occasions. Selfie craze had even resulted in the accidental deaths of a few youths.
Talking selfie at a wedding party is the common practice of many persons. However, such a habit may violate the privacy of other people who appear in the background unintentionally.
According to the report published in Khaleej Times, apart from a fine of Dh 500000, a person can be imprisoned for six months for taking selfie at wedding and other parties.
It may be mentioned that photos taken at such parties usually end up on social thereby results in the violation of privacy.
