Delivering an example of the sort of public-private partnerships the conference is aiming to develop, the UAE Government and UAE-based maritime and related industry will offer $1.4 million.
The donations will be given during the international fundraiser event co-chaired by the UAE and the United Nations on Tuesday during the conference, said a statement released by UAE’s official news agency WAM.
