Canberra, November 13: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Australia have agreed on measures to strengthen bilateral relations, WAM news agency reported Thursday.
Saeed Mohammed Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Australia and Glen Simpson, the Chairman of the Council for Australian-Arab Relations (CAAR) had a meeting at the UAE Embassy here and discussed bilateral relations between the two countries.
Glenn briefed Shamsi on the results of his recent visit to the region. The UAE ambassador provided an overview of the comprehensive development achieved by the UAE.
Al Shamsi asserted that the UAE’s economy is one of the most important economies in the region as it provides excellent investment opportunities especially in the fields of energy and infrastructure development.
