Hyderabad: There is a good news for the 18 lakh students of it is that there two year diploma course has been recognized equivalent to 12th standard by Govt. of India. Ministry of Skill Development in consultation with Ministry of HRD took this decision. Union Minister for Skill Development, Mr. Rajiv Pratap Rudy told that ITI diploma courses passed students will now be eligible to seek admissions in higher courses. These students have also been given the facility of completing two bridge courses while doing two year diploma course. One of them would be a language course.
As part of Skill India Movement, Govt. of India organized a grand function of certificate distribution for ITI students in which, Mr. Narendra Modi, PM of India will participate as the Chief Guest. Govt. of India is holding this grand function for the first time to distribute certificates to ITI passed students.
