Two women raped in Delhi

New Delhi, May 04: Two women were raped in the national capital, while a four-year-old girl was molested by her 45-year-old neighbour, police said Tuesday.

In the first case, a 26-year-old girl was abducted and raped by a 30-year-old man in the Farsh Bazar area of east Delhi, police said.

Mohammad Aziz abducted the victim from Vishwas Nagar in east Delhi and took her to Farsh Bazar, where he beat her up and sexually assaulted her, Deputy Commissioner of Police O.P. Mishra told IANS.

The incident happened Sunday evening and the accused was arrested Monday night after the girl’s family approached the police.

In the second incident, a 35-year-old woman was raped by her landlord in Prem Nagar Extension in north Delhi.

Ram Nichattar Yadav, 48, raped the woman when she was sleeping alone on the terrace. Her husband was sleeping inside their first-floor house. The landlord lives in the same building.

In another case, police said the four-year-old girl was molested by 45-year-old Nandlal in Shalimar Bagh area of north Delhi Monday. Nandlal, who works as a labourer, is on the run, police said.
