Two women found dead

Hyderabad, January 29: A woman’s body was found charred beyond recognition at Tallagadda while another woman was found dead at Nagole today.In the first case, the charred body of a woman was found near Kabaddi grounds at Tallagadda under the Tappachabutra police station limits this morning.

Though police could not ascertain the identity of the deceased, they suspect it might be Rajani (35), a resident of Markandeya Nagar in Karwan. Police said Rajani had a tiff with her husband yesterday and threatened to set herself ablaze in full public view. After the quarrel, she left home and a missing case has been

registered following a complaint by her husband.

The identity of the woman can be ascertained only after a postmortem is conducted on the body. The photographs of Rajini is almost similar to that of the deceased woman, police said. The postmortem report will also ascertain whether the woman ended her life or was set ablaze by some others.

Meanwhile, the body of a 65-year-old woman was found near the a bridge under construction at Nagole. The woman was identified as S Yashoda, said to be mentally unsound and belonging to New Mamatha Colony in Nagole. Yashoda left home yesterday when other inmates went out and she was missing since then. Police suspect Yashoda might have accidentally fell from the bridge and died.

Cases were registered and investigation is on.
