Two sisters arrested for selling neighour’s newborn baby

Hyderabad: Exploiting the poor economic condition of a destitute woman, her neighbours managed to sell her newborn baby.

According to the details of the case, Naseem Begum was residing at Ramanthapur with her three children. Her husband left her when she was pregnant. Later, she gave birth to a baby boy. She was very much worried about bringing up her children. She told her financial condition to her neighbour, Anasuya.

Anasuya narrated the poor condition of Naseem Begum to her sister Jayashree who extended financial help to Naseem Begum.

After Naseem Begum gave birth to a baby boy, the two sisters took the newborn and sold him for Rs. 40, 000. Suspecting the conspiracy, Naseem Begum approached Uppal Police.

Mr. Narasing Rao, Inspector of Police started investigations and traced out the boy from Medak. Police arrested both the sisters and the baby boy was sent to Shishu Vihar.
