Bhopal: At the age of 10, Syyeda Masooma Fatima is already a skating star by winning two Silvers and a Bronze at 53rd National Speed Skating Championship held at Pune.
On the basis of her brilliant display in Pune event in the 8 to 10 year girl’s category, Fatima will now participate in national level championship.
“CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan had kickstarted the Beti Bachao Abhiyan in 2012. Fatima known for her skating stunt was associated with it in no time,” her proud father Rahil Anwar told News18.
As part of the campaign, she performed in cities including Allahabad, Banda, Ratlam, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Indore, Anwar said.
Trained by Sajid Khan at TT Stadium in Bhopal, Fatima won 66 medals in various events right form district level to national events.
