Two rowdy sheeters of Chaderghat area were detained under Pevention of Detention Act on Monday.
According to Asst. Commissioner of Police,
Sultan Bazar Division, on the proposals of Chaderghat Police Inspector, the Hyderabad City Police Commissioner issued preventive detention orders against Mohd Imran alias Kala Imran, 21, and Syed Musthaquddin alias Mushtaq, 27, of Wahed Nagar, Old Malakpet under provisions of Sec 3 (1) of AP Preventive of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Dacoits, Drug Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Land Grabbers, Act 1986.
Police said Syed Mushtaquddin alias Mushtaq is very active offender as he was committing offences continuously since 2004. He has become a grave threat to normal society as he was terrorizing the innocent. Due to fear of the offender, the local people are afraid of lodging complaints against him His illegal activities are causing breach of peace and tranquility. He was involved in one murder case under Dabeerpura PS limits, five attempt to murder cases, three extortion cases, one rioting, six simple hurt and other cases pertaining to various Police Stations of Hyderabad and Cyberabad City. He became a terror and his activities have been prejudicial to maintain public peace and tranquility. Though he was externed from Hyderabad City police limits for six months, he did not change his attitude. After release from jail, he started committing offences again. He was detained under P.D. Act in Central Prison, Chanchalguda.
Mohd Imran alias Kala Imran was committing offences and terrorizing the Public by his illegal acts. He was involved in two extortion and two attempt to murder cases under Chaderghat and Jubilee Hills Police Stations. He was detained under P.D. Act and lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda. (NSS)
