New Delhi, February 20: CBI has arrested two top officials of a private firm for obtaining a loan of Rs 15 crore from a bank allegedly on forged documents.
Shamken Multifab Ltd Chairman cum Managing Director (CMD) H B Chaturvedi and Director (Corporate Finance) Pravin Juneja were today produced before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Kaveri Baweja who remanded them to police custody till February 25.
According to CBI, both the accused of the firm dealing in fabrication services had conspired with each other and with other accused to cheat IDBI Bank for availing a term loan of Rs 15 crores on the basis of forged documents during 2000-01.
