Golconda police received credible information on June 18, morning hours that two persons aged group about 52 and 30 years planning for cheating to the innocent persons by showing a antique pot as Rice Pulling pot and some fake diamonds at Shaikpet near Mc Donald’s, passport office.
Immediately police rushed to the spot and apprehended two persons namely Mohd. Ahmed (52) an Real Estate Business Resident of Near Dargah of Nampally, Hyderabad and D. Ram Babu (29) a Driver Resident of Himayath Sagar of Rajendra Nagar, R.R. District along with one bag containing one old antique type copper pot tied in a cloth which called as Rice Pulling pot and also found a small wooden box having design over it on opening the box we found four glass pieces in shape of crystal and diamond cuts white in colour called as diamonds, one dry lemon. And they were discussing with 3 innocent persons for disposal of the above items with intention to cheat them and abstract huge amounts from them
During the course of interrogation both the accused persons voluntarily confessed that with intention to earn easy money they hatched a plan for cheating to the innocent persons but they were caught hold by the Police.
Police registered a case against accused persons under sections 420, 511 IPC and began investigations. Sub Inspector Mohd Taqiuddin said. (INN)
