East Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad apprehended two persons Kimudu Prasada Rao (24) an Agriculture R/o Goddubusulu Village, Singarba Post/Panchayath, G Madugula Mandal, Vishakapatnam District and Kimudu Satyanarayana (21) an Agriculturist R/o Chepalli village Singarba Post/Panchayath, G Madugula Mandal, Vishakapatnam District. along with 26-Kgs of Ganja near Central Library Road, Afzalgunj, Hyderabad, while they were trying to dispose it going to Begum Bazaar.
Kimudu Prasada Rao and Kimudu Satyanarayana who are cousins facing financial problems, they decided to make easy money by procuring and selling/transporting Ganja with the help of Satish (Who is having earlier experience of buying Ganja at Vishkhapatnam area and selling the same in Bangalore and Hyderabad)
One week back Satish called Kimudu Prasada Rao over phone and informed that one unknown customer residing in Hyderabad needs Ganja and instructed him to hand over 26 Kgs of Ganja to the same customer, for which he accepted to give an amount of Rs. 30,000/- for 26 Kgs of Ganja and he also agreed to give Rs. 2,000 for transportation charges of too and fro from Vizag to Hyderabad
After procuring said Ganja both came from Vizag to Hyderabad by means of Bus, on May 26 and they were on the road of Central Library in the limits of Afzalgunj PS, Hyderabad, and trying to find transport to go to Begumbazar area, the Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone Team, Hyderabad apprehended them along with 4-Polythene cover Packets of Ganja weighing about 26-KGs.
The accused along with seized property were handed over to the Afzalgunj Police station for taking further action.
