On Sunday night, P V Venkatarama Reddy, 38year-old, was killed on the spot after a BMTC bus knocked him down on Devarabeesanahalli bridge outer ring road in the Airport traffic police station limits.
The accident occurred at 9.30 pm when Reddy, a security guard at a private software firm, was homecoming from work. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
In another incident, Gopalaiah, 45year-old, a labourer from Hongasandra, was killed after a hit-and-run vehicle hit him on Singasandra Road, off Hosur Road.
He was on his way to Electronics City when the accident took place. The driver fled the spot, police said.
