A 40-year-old man committed suicide allegedly due to financial problems.
The deceased, M Ravikanth, took the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Vivekananda Nagar near Uppuguda on Thursday night. He was an employee of a private firm and was facing severe financial problems for the past few months, according to Chatrinaka police.
In a separate case, A Madhava Reddy, 45, died of burn injuries which he sustained on June 3 after setting himself ablaze. He took the extreme step at his residence in Medchal and died at the Gandhi Hospital on Thursday night. According to Medhcal police, Madhav Reddy was contesting a case in the court over ownership of some ancestral property. The fear of losing the case is suspected to have driven him to suicide. (INN)
