Hyderabad: Police arrested two members of Darsgah-e-Jihad vo Shahadat (DJS) when they reached Ministers’ Quarters at Banjara Hills to present a memorandum to Home Minister, Mr Mohammed Mahmood Ali requesting him to make arrangements for the reconstruction of the dismantled Masjid-e- Ek Khana located at Amberpet.
After arresting Shahnawaz Khan and Mohammed bin Omer, police shifted them to the police station.
According to the statement issued by Mr Mohammed Abdul Majid, President of DJS, if the said masjid is not reconstructed at the same place, the activists of DJS will offer namaz in front of the quarter of Home Minister, Mr Mohammed Mahmood Ali. He demanded the Govt. to release these activists immediately.
