Two pedestrians among four killed in road accidents

Four persons, including two pedestrians, were killed in road accidents at different places in the city.

In the first case, Naresh, 25, succumbed to the injuries which he suffered after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle near Bapu Ghat on January 3. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he died on Sunday night. He was an employee of a private firm and resident of Bandlaguda.

In a similar case, 58-year-old K Kondal Rao died of injuries which he sustained on December 11 after he was hit by a motorcycle while he was crossing the road near his house in Nacharam. He died at the Gandhi Hospital on Sunday night.

In a different case, T Shiva Raj, 42, succumbed to the injuries which he suffered on December 25 after he lost control of the bike he was riding and hit a road divider near Banjari Darwaza. He was admitted to the OGH where he died last night. He was a resident of Ambedkar Nagar near Bapu Ghat, according to Golconda police.

In another case, 37-year-old Ch Chanti Babu died of injuries which he sustained on December 31 when the bike he was riding hit a road divider near Madhapur crossroads. He died at the OGH on Monday. According to Madhapur police, Babu was a native of East Godavari district and used to reside in the city at Road No 24, Jubilee Hills. (INN)
