The central government has agreed to open passport counters in two post offices in Telangana, said state BJP president Dr K Laxaman.
Laxaman said the state party has urged the centre to open passport counters in Mahabubnagar and Warangal district for which the centre has agreed. He thanked union minister Bandaru Dattatrye for his help and foreign minister Sushma Swaraj for giving nod to open passport counters in two post offices in Mahabubnagar and Warangal districts each.
BJP state party chief said opening of two passport counters in post offices is a live example that the central government is always in favour of development of Telangana state. (NSS)
