Two Options Before Congress, Diggy Tells T Party Leaders

AICC leader In-charge of State Affairs Digvijay Singh here on Monday felt the options before the Congress high command on Telangana issue were either to keep Andhra Pradesh united or bifurcate it.

Digvijay Singh, in a meeting held with Telangana Congress leaders in Lake View Guest House, admitted there was delay in taking a decision by the Congress high command on the demand of Telangana statehood. He asked them to submit their views on the issue to the Chief Minister and the PCC president, who would submit a report to the party high command.

The Telangana Congress leaders submitted copies of resolutions adopted by the Telangana Sadhana Sabha to Digvijay Singh. They also urged that the party high command should immediately take a decision on Telangana statehood by considering the strong desire of the people of the region. (NSS)
