Tezpur (Assam), July 14: Two NDFB militants, suspected to be involved in bomb blasts on railway tracks in Assam, today surrendered before the police here.
The surrendered militants — Birman Basumatari and Gagan Basumatari — were allegedly involved in the bomb blasts on railway tracks near Batasipur in Sonitpur and Mazbat in Udalguri district last week, police said.
The militants deposited two 9 mm pistols, three rounds of ammunitions and one hand grenade, they said.
