Mumbai, January 15: Two more students committed suicide in Mumbai Thursday evening, taking to nearly 20 the number of such incidences in the past 12 days.
A Class 12 student, Suraj Nair, 16, hanged himself at home in Virar suburb in Thane.
An 18-year-old girl jumped to her death from the 5th floor of her home in Matunga in central Mumbai. She was a first year BA student of SIES College, police said.
The reason for the suicides is not known, police said, adding that they are investigating.
